| Brett and I met a looonnggg time ago and when we met we were around the age of 8 or 9 years old. The both of us lived in the same neighborhood and on the same street, about 5 houses down from each other to be exact. We became friends shortly after I had moved into the neighborhood and we remained friends since then. We used to play outside all the time and we always seemed to be inseperatable. Everyday we were at each other's houses and when were not it just wasn't right. In high school, we both started sports. Brett joined wrestling and I joined soccer. While we were both still in high school, we went to work at the same Kroger in Jeffersonville where we worked the front end (cashiers and baggers) and we got to work closed together and caught up on each other’s lives every so often. We didn't hang out much then because we were always at school, working, or spending time with other friends. And before you knew it few years went by and we graduated from high school and went our seperate ways. After years of not talking or seeing each other much, I received a text from Brett asking if I would like to hang out and catch up on things like we used to. So, he came over and we sat down and talked for hours about life, relationships, our past, etc. We had a blast catching up. Before he had left, Brett asked if I would like to go out for dinner to one of his favorite places to eat in Louisville, Against the Grain, and of course I said yes. Our first date came and we went to the restaurant, ate some of the best appetizers I have ever had, had some beers and enjoyed each other’s company. After our date, we went back to my place were we sat down and talked some more about life while Brett played his guitar. Before the night was over we were both a little swooned and we ended the night with an awkward kiss. :) |
